How do I check my balance and/or payoff information?
If you login through our patient portal you will have access to your balance information.
If you would prefer to call us you will need to verify your identity prior to us
giving that information over the phone so have you information handy when you call

Do I have to use ACH or credit card to pay the acct?
Yes, we are required to use ACH for monthly payments on the account (can be checking
or savings); you may pay the account off at anytime with ACH, CC or by sending us
a cashier’s check or money order (for payoff’s only), but if we do not receive the
cashiers check or money order before your next scheduled payment the payment will
be taken as normal.
Can I send in the pmt?
No, we only take ACH or Credit Cards, you may send us a cashiers check or money
order to pay your account in full if you wish.
Who is HFD?
We are a Loan processing company that acts as an extension of your doctor’s office
to approve, collect and manage patient payments
What is my interest rate?
We do not charge interest. We do however charge a modest monthly fee to process
your transaction
Do you report to the credit bureau?
It is our intention to report to one of the three credit reporting agencies. At
any given time we might report to one or all of the credit reporting agencies. If
you would like, we would be happy to supply you with a letter that you can send
to TransUnion, Equifax or Experian listing your payment history with Healthcare
Finance Direct.
Can I make 3 payments now, and not be billed (ACH’d) for 3 months?
Our system takes all payments received above the regular monthly payment and applies
to principle at the end of the term.
What was the total amount financed?
Every patient that we deal with receives a set of documents upon signature. These
documents not only point out your total financed but discloses to you the cost of
this financing to you.
Can I make payments online?
Not at this time, however you can up-date your account information and see your
balances. Remember you always have the option of sending us payment in full.
When is my first payment due?
First payments must be made within thirty days of getting the procedure. The office
staff will advise you of this when you sign agreements and allow you to pick a date
that works best for you.
